Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of different quality and amount of irrigation water conditions on water use, yield, vegetative development and physiological parameters of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) in controlled field conditions were investigated under Central Anatolian climatic conditions. In the experiment, four different irrigation water salinity levels, four different irrigation water amounts and drought and salinity stress were applied to plants under multiple stress conditions. At the end of the experiment, it was observed that plant water consumption decreased with increasing salt concentrations in the same amount of irrigation water. As the applied amount of irrigation water decreased, water use efficiency (WUE) increased. In this study, it was found that applied drought and salinity stress to quinoa plant had negative effects on yield parameters in general.
