Cumhuriyet Halk Fırkası 1931 Kongresi

The Third Congress of Republican People?s Party (RPP) which was convened in 1931 has been a genuine milestone, not only for the party?s history, but also for the political history of Turkey. It is by the mentioned congress that RPP has formed its program and an established worldview, and that the relations between party and state as well as the relations between political power and social arena have been redefined. This thesis focuses on that congress, looking over differents aspects, like the process before congress, the major themes, as well as the basic orientations which have dominated the congress.
