Abstract (EN)
In this study, the radon gas measurements of three different coal pits that are run by a private company in two different towns of Çorum has been carried out. About 25-30 numbers of CR-39 radon gas detectors have been tried to place to the different points of coal pits. These detectors have been kept at these points for about 45-60 days. In order to prevent these detectors to contact with air, they have been covered with foils and bands. These covered bands have been taken to ÇNAEM and have been subjected to experimental process and lastly the Becquerel (Bq/m3) type of results in 1m3 has been obtained. The results have been compared with the limit values determined in the direction of ICRP and TAEK references.
