Abstract (EN)

This master study's topic is the transcription and analysis of court records including only in the years of BC. 1824 - 1826 / H. 1240 - 1241, in Çorum's court records within the years of BC. 1824 - 1836 / H. 1240 - 1254. For this study, the first 109 registers took in principle. The period of 1 824 and 1 826 years examining includes that the Ottoman State tried to cut stop the rebellion of Mora island. While the state turning its eyes to the Island, the small Anatolian city, Çorum, was examined with the life of economic and social. It has been seen that the towns of İskilip, Osmancık, katar, saz, and Hacı Hamza administrativelly were parts of the city. Moreover, it has been established that there were some unsettled nomadic tribes. The social events m the city were examined basically with marriages, villainy incidents, social institutions and building. The economic events were examined with the general stuation, production, careers, and merchantilism. In conclusion, the structure of Çorum's economic and social were terribly effected in with the rebellion being tried to suppress by the state. To meet the need of the state, the state put new taxes and required new soldiers. This caused disturbing the city's economic and social structure much more than before.
