Abstract (EN)

Energy is an indispensable resource for human life. With the increase in the world population, technological developments and the development of the industry, energy demand is also increasing. There are values to be measured according to the type of energy planned to be used, such as solar radiation, wind speed and intensity, and proximity of geothermal resources to soil. As with every investment, economic analyzes should be carried out before the installation of renewable energy systems. Investment potential of the region in terms of renewable energy sources should be determined. The purpose of this study; to examine the renewable energy potential of Aydın's Germencik-Söke region and to evaluate the energy needs of the region through Microgrid containing these energy resources and to investigate the effects of Microgrid on energy costs. During this research, the profitability of the investment to be made over the consumption values of the current system users was examined. The unit energy cost, investment cost and lifetime cost of the renewable energy system vary according to the existing potential of the energy resources in the region. Although some renewable energy systems are more expensive to set up, it can be seen to be cheaper according to unit energy cost when compared to a lifetime cost. Net Present Value Method was used to calculate the lifetime cost of the systems. The purpose of the Net Present Value Method is to determine the income situation according to today's conditions by reducing the future income and expenses to the present time. As a result of this study; the energy demand of the Aydın's Germencik-Söke region were met by using renewable energy sources in the region. Microgrid supplied by renewable energy resources is shown as an economically profitable investment to research, develop and establish.
