Abstract (EN)
As the developments and innovations in information and communication technologies become widespread globally, there is diversity in the demands and expectations of consumers, and there is also an increase in digital activities. Economic crises, epidemics and wars cause the economic structures of countries to deteriorate and disrupt. The rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, which emerged in Wuhan, China in the last months of 2019, caused countries to close their borders, which caused trade to almost stop. This study examines consumers' attitudes towards online shopping during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Consumer purchasing trends during and after the pandemic period are examined. The aim of the study is to determine consumers' tendency towards online shopping in line with their rational purchasing tendency, saving tendency, prudent budgeting tendency and responsible spending tendency, which are discussed under the name of rational tendencies, and their behavioral intention at the point of online shopping behavior after the pandemic, and the relationships between these variables. For these purposes, the answers obtained from 379 participants through a survey using the convenience sampling method constitute the data of the research. It has been determined that consumers' purchasing behavior is rational. There are significant relationships between rational purchasing tendency, online shopping tendency and online shopping behavioral intention.
