Abstract (EN)

In this study; In the COVID-19 pandemic, the relationship between sexual satisfaction and sexual self-schemas and the differentiation of these variables according to socio-demographic characteristics were examined. The sample of the study consists of 809 adult female individuals. In order to collect data in the research; The Socio-Demographic Information Form, the New Sexual Satisfaction Scale and the Sexual Self-Schema Scale were used, and the research model is the relational screening model. The data obtained from the participants were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical package program. Independent Sample T-Test, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Pearson Correlation Analysis were performed to analyze the data. According to the findings of the study, there is a moderate, positive correlation between women's sexual satisfaction and sexual self-schemas. It was determined that the total scores of the Sexual Self-Scheme Scale of female participants with associate or undergraduate degrees were significantly higher than those of high school graduates. It has been determined that the sexual satisfaction levels and the total scores of the Sexual Self-Scheme Scale of the women who have spent the pandemic process with their partner are significantly higher than the female individuals who did not spend the pandemic together with their partner. The findings were discussed within the framework of the literature and various suggestions were presented.
