Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACTIn this work, CdS thin films were covered on glass substrates by using Solution GrowthTechnique. Solution Growth Technique ( Chemical Bath Deposition-CBD ) which is one ofthe best methods to produce CdS semiconductor is an inexpensive and easy method. At thesame time, a surface which is necessray for solar cells can be covered by using CBDtechnique. Thin film II-VI semiconductor (nano)structures which will be used in solar cellscan be produced by using this technique in low cost. The colour of the solution turns in to orange from yellow colour within 15 minute during thepreperation of CdS thin film material. Change in colour of the solution can be evaluated as asign of producing colloidal CdS particles. After first 15 minutes, it was observed thatnucleated colloid particles were covered on glass substrates which are less adherent, morepowdery and quality of thin film was decreased. After covering, optical absorbtion spectrums were taken and the band gap energy wasdetermined. X-rays diffraction measurements were taken and crystal structure was determinedby modelling of the spectrums.
