Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted at the experimental area of Field Crops Department, Agriculturel Faculty of Çukurova University as a main crop in 2007. The aim of this study was to determine yield and important plant characteristics of some soybean varieties and genotypes which are grown as a main crop. In this research such as Nazlıcan, Umut?2002, Türksoy, S.4240, SA 88, A.3935, Nova, Atakişi, Arısoy, Omaha and Atem?7 soybean varieties and Aw?4, HA?36?37, HA.16?21, HA?11 and HA- 10A Soybean genotypes were used as materials.It was determined that, the highest seed yield was obtained from Omaha (314.6 kg/da) variety and HA?11(289.8 kg/da) genotype and the lowest was in the Nazlıcan (190.8 kg/da) variety. As a result; Omaha and Atakişi varieties and HA?11 genotype could be grown as a main crop the Çukurova region
