Abstract (EN)

In Çukurova region which takes place in hot region zone, from the regional characteristics view, temperature increases over 30ºC especially in summer months in structures like greenhouse and coop. Heat?s that much rising causes stress based on temperature for living things. Padded evaporative systems are used in order to decrease the negative effects of temperature in region. In these systems 2 different pads are used called cellulose-based and cement-alloyed and not enough information is found about the functional characteristics of these pads under regional conditions. In study, some functional characteristics of one padded evaporative cooling system are used. In study went on during August and September period, the effect of system?s cooling, pad front, the dispersion of temperature in coop?s middle and end is determined. The activity of system?s cooling is %74,8 , decrease of system?s cooling is 5,3ºC , air?s satiety level is % 91,6, the average temperature difference between coop middle and pad exit is 13ºC, the average temperature difference between coop- middle and coop-end is determined as 0,7 ºC.
