Abstract (EN)
It is known that the greatest factor in the birth of the science of Qiraat was the granting of the license of "seven letters". The authorization of "seven letters" was given due to the difficulties in understanding and pronunciation of the Qur'an among some of the first period interlocutors. The activities of teaching the differences of Qiraat started in the period after the Prophet's death and have continued uninterruptedly until today. To date, various works have been written on the subject of qiraat, and some methods have been developed to teach qiraat differences in a systematic and easy way. As a result of the increasing demand for Qiraat education activities, special places (dāru al-Kurrā) were also allocated for this purpose in our civilization. In the first part of the thesis, the birth and development of the science of Qiraat is explained. In the first forty-five years of the Republic of Turkey, Qiraat education lost the vitality of the Ottoman Empire and came to a standstill. In our country, formal Qiraat education was resumed in 1968. The first qiraat education circle in Eskişehir was established in 1970. Until 1997, six people each completed their training under the leadership of Mehmet Sarıcaoğlu in two terms andreceived icâzet. After his death, his student Yaşar Tekeli continued his Qiraat education in Eskişehir and gave ijâzet to seventy-seven people in eight periods. The Qiraat activities, which were not interrupted with great devotion under difficult conditions, made a very important contribution to the revival of the Qur'an and Qiraat culture in Eskişehir. Eskisehir has become one of the prominent cities in this field in Turkey thanks to the contributions of those who supported the activities of Qiraat education financially and spiritually, especially Sarıcaoğlu and Tekeli. In the second part of the thesis, Qiraat education activities in Eskişehir were analyzed. In the third part, contributions to Qiraat education in Eeskişehir were investigated. With this study, the activities of Qiraat education in Eskişehir for more than half a century and various data in this field have been recorded for the first time with academic rigor. In this respect, it is expected to be a source for other studies to be conducted in Eskişehir in the future on the subject of qiraat. It is thought that a museum of Qiraat education could be established in Eskişehir. Along with this museum, it is also suggested that a special Kırâat Education Center to be built in accordance with the classical Ottoman architecture, where Yaşar Tekeli's name will be kept alive, be brought to Eskişehir.
