Abstract (EN)

Allah c.c. has asked and asks the people to read, explain, and understand his final book which was revealed as a guidance for all of humanity through his final messenger, Muhammad (PBUH). Those who believed in Quran and dedicated themselves to it, taking literary language of it into consideration and in line with this divine command, tried to read and understand it correctly from the very beginning of Islamic era. Besides these studies, Arabic language was examined in every aspect of it and many studies has been being carried out back in the day and are being carried out today in the field of Arabic language and rhetoric so the Holy Quran can be comprehended. So, in this study, we will examine the verbs of imminence (أَفْعَالُ الْمُقَارَبَةِ), verbs of hope (أَفْعَالُ الرَّجَاءِ), and verbs of start (أَفْعَالُ الشُّرُوعِ) in the context of meaning that they add to sentences. Apart from this, we will examine examples from Quran and evaluate their accuracy in terms of Arabic language. If there are any discrepancies in the meaning, we will try to eliminate them. In Arabic language, briefly, there is a group of verbs called "muqarabah" or "كَادَ". These verbs resemble verb كَانَ and the similar words, and they come positioning in the beginning of sentence just as كَانَ, and they cause alterations in subject (مُبْتَدَأ, mubtada), the predicate (خَبَر, khabar)., and both in terms of noun (اسم, ism) and inflection (عراب, i'rab). The difference is that while the predicate of كَانَ can be both noun or verb, predicate of these must be a verbal clause which consists of a present tense verb (فعال المضارع, fi'il mudhari). And their predicate always comes after كَادَ and the like. In the first part, we will discuss Arabic language and its emergence, and importance and structure of it; in the second part, we will talk the verbs of imminence, hope, and start, and in the third part, we will try to find the verbs of imminence, hope, and start in Quran and examine their meanings in translations, and we will compare meaning of these words in the translations of the Holy Qoran. So, we will complete our study inshaAllah. Key words: Mukaraba, Reca, Şuru', Grammatical, Nevâsih, Meâl
