Abstract (EN)

Nowadays noise is as an important environmental pollution matter has lots of negative effects from physiological-psychological effects on health to the injurious effects over the activities which are displayed by the scientific research studies.Noise control stages that have to be taken on planned, gain importance in the point of eliminating the noise entirely or reducing the levels of the noise to the minimum in other words staying the noise under acceptable limits. In the noise control subject, the importance of the noise maps cannot be denied because of the approach that has to be follow from urban planning scale to building planning scale..The aim of this thesis is to create noise maps for the choosen pilot zone (distance between Göztepe-Bostancı Section) of İstanbul-Ankara D100 (E5) highway; to introduce the percentage of the people effected from noise according to zones and for the certain noise level gaps; to determine the zones which have problems; to illustrate and give an example of the works which have to be done about ?noise? issue by preparing action plans intended for audit in the scope of ?European Union? confomity works. The method of thesis is; collecting data (the usage field of noise maps in the different countries with some examples, taking out the maps for the choosen pilot zone from computer and clarifying all the data ?aimed at topographic, climatic and residental- for the zone and scanning the literature for the zone etc.), preparing noise maps, measuring noise values and comparing the results which are taken from noise maps and preparing ?Action Plans? intended for noise audit.
