Abstract (EN)

Every geothermal power plant has its own unique characteristics, there is no two or more geothermal power plant who exactly the same one to another, it's like human's fingerprint. Dry-steam is very rare hydrothermal type; there are only two major dry-steam fields in the World, Larderello in Italy and the Geyser in USA. But there are limited dry-steam areas in Indonesia like in Kamojang and Darajat. Dry-steam plants tend to be simpler and less expensive than flash-steam. Performance analysis of Darajat geothermal power plant unit 1 will perform using real data from the plant, and will looking for its performance characteristics and find important results that can use to performance improvement. Calculation and simulation of the plant will use an Engineering Equation Solver (ESS) to analyse its exergy and energy efficiency. The result shows Darajat unit 1 with capacity 55 MW produce electricity power around 450 GWh every year with the first and second law efficiencies are 20.79 % and 65.14 %.
