The effects of pedagogic changing on contemporary museum design concept

Ill ABSTRACT Museums in the postmodern society as lifelong education institutions based on the principle of continuity in learning, show an extraverted structure. In the process of lifelong education, with the goal of effective use of museums as diverse learning environments based on experience, museums' content and the process of communicating this content to visitors, are changing. This development referred as the pedagogic change with urban location, place construction, exhibition, multiple medias and multiple communication technologies affects all the scale of the museum design. This stdudy aims at evaluating the impact of the pedagogical change in the transition from modern society to postmodern society on the museum design in the framework of changes in the knowledge base and the education enviroments.
