Abstract (EN)

The effect of Deconstruction, which emerged as a philosophical approach, has changed the traditional understanding of architecture and led to the reinterpretation of the structures and the emergence of interesting structures. Most of these structures have become iconic structures in the regions where they are located, have influenced many designers and architecture and have continued their traces until today's designs. In this study titled Reading Deconstructivist Architecture on 21st Century Designs, the effects of deconstructivist understanding on 21st century architectural design and their reinterpretation through building designs are examined. In the first part of the research, definitions of new architectural philosophy have been made. Within the scope of these definitions, the concepts of deconstruction and deconstructivism are explained. In the second part, the concept of deconstructivist architecture is explained and deconstructivist architects who participated in the 1988 Moma Exhibition and their works are examined and the findings are obtained.
