Abstract (EN)

Urban life constitutes private and public life styles and it leads to compose a new connection among places which are created by this kind of life styles. Not only use of materials and technology but also providing connections among spaces such as inside-out, inside-inside reveal transparency and transition among spaces mentioned above. Throughout centuries, relationship between transparency and transition in architecture has been developed and it has become experimental concept with advance in technology. In this assessment, transparency in experimental dimension, components of social life like privacy, personality or living together, and physical factors are evaluated altogether; Chapter 1 The introduction part in which aim, scope, and method of the study are explained. Chapter 2 Concepts of transparency and transition are defined. Furthermore, relationship between the concepts and human being are examined. Chapter 3 In this part, the development and change in concept of transparency in historical period are assessed. Chapter 4 The concept of experimental transparency, which is supported by detailed instances, is defined and examined. Chapter 5 The contribution of concept of transparency in electronic media to architecture and social life is considered.
