Abstract (EN)
In this study, diffusers with different geometrical characteristics and their effects on dilution are investigated. For this case, twelve different physical properties are taken into account. For each selected diffuser type, hydraulic parameters induced by internal and external flow are calculated. Mechanical properties such as stresses and local buckling have been also determined for obtaining safe and economic diffuser system for discharge. Finally, discharge tubes with different geometric characteristics of waste are investigated from aspect of nearshore, offshore andbacteriel dilution and cloud heights from the sea bottom.
