Abstract (EN)

This research examines the analysis of density and SP log data between the Kazancı-5 well in the Thrace basin and the Kayaköy-16 and Kayaköy-22 wells drilled in the Southeastern Anatolia region. Data from these wells were examined to determine reservoir characteristics and evaluate hydrocarbon production potential. While the porosity value was calculated as 12% in Kazancı-5 well, this value was calculated as 12,1% in Kayaköy-16-22 wells. Additionally, the geological structure and formations of Kayaköy-16-22 wells were tried to be determined by comparing SP log data. The reservoir rocks in the Southeastern Anatolia area belong to Sayındere, Derdere and Sabunsuyu formations. It has been observed that the most suitable unit for production is the Sabunsuyu formation called Mardin-II. Danişmen formation was described as the reservoir rock in the Kazancı-5 location in the Thrace basin. It has been determined that the source rocks are Osmancık and Mezardere formations. In the Kazancı-5 well, where gas is produced, it is envisaged to use 'PAC-R, type polymer' due to the salty drilling fluid. As a result of the log data taken from the Kayaköy-22 well; Among the formations passed in the well, it was determined that Mardin-I (Derdere Formation) was considered as the reservoir rock and Mardin-II (Sabunsuyu formation) was the source rock. In the Kayaköy 16-22 wells where other oil is produced, it is envisaged to use PHPA diluted polyacrylamide in order to increase production due to the presence of shale and clayey units and the Sabunsuyu formation, which is described as the source rock.
