Earthquakes with environmental impacts and a scenarios of application

In this research; fire in industrial zones welding from earthquake, explosions, petrolium leakage flowing to sea, potential negative impacts of these on the local people and nature will be told. Especially, because of its position and of its size, Tupraş Rafinery which is located in İzmit gulf county will represent the main subject of this research. In this scope; features of LPG and crude oil tanks situtated in Tupraş Rafinery, their distance to each other and to habitation, their reaction in the course of fire, radiant heat, impacts of coming out toxic combination on local people and cooling operations will be studied in scientific content and methods that can be applied to potential disasters will be explained.
