Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the relationship between psychological resilience and religious coping among earthquake survivors. The research consists of two main sections. The first section presents the theoretical framework for psychological resilience, religious coping, and disaster psychology, while the second section analyzes the collected data statistically. The study employed a quantitative correlational survey model. The population consisted of individuals aged 18 or older, and the sample included 473 participants selected through random sampling: 243 females (51.4%) and 230 males (48.6%). Data were collected using the Psychological Resilience Scale, the Religious Coping Scale, and the Hope Scale. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical package program. Independent samples t-test was applied for two-group variables, One-Way ANOVA was used for variables with three or more groups, and Pearson correlation and regression analyses were conducted to determine the direction and predictive power of the relationships among the scales. The findings indicated that (a) there were certain differences in psychological resilience, religious coping, and hope levels according to socio-demographic variables, (b) there was a significant positive relationship between psychological resilience and religious coping, and (c) hope had a supportive and predictive effect on both psychological resilience and religious coping. These results reveal that religious coping and hope are fundamental factors that strengthen individuals' psychological resilience in the post-disaster process.
