Abstract (EN)
Cold storage performance of Hicaznar pomegranate variety, grown in Adana province which were dipped in hot water (50 oC and 55 oC) for 1 and 2 minutes and covered by strechfilm (thickness 12?), stored for 4 months and 7 days shelf life, investigated in this study.Experimental research showed that Hicaznar pomegranate variety fruits which were dipped to hot water had better storage conditation than control fruits. When visual quality and fungal disorders are taken into consideration, it was found that fruits which are dipped to 55 oC 1 minute and 50 oC 2 minute applications would be stored for 4 months economically.Key Words: Hicaznar, pomegranate, storage, hot water, quality.
