Design and development of modular-foldable transitional shelters

This study is investigating the ways and technical of development the modular architectural design strategies for the post-disaster shelter relief response and long-term housing. A modular-foldable transitional shelter design study is proposed that temporary modifiable unit to support the transitional shelter prosses also to sustain the process from emergency stages to permanent housing units. The suggested approach relies on the design of adaptable, variable and compatible construction systems. The feasibility of the presented concept and building systems is investigated by means of a literature review, explains the ideas of previous authors and investigation the objectives, propose, develop and design new system of transitional shelter units.
