Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine some structural features of milking facilities which are supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry between 2005-2018 within the scope of 50% grant support and given an experimental report by Biosystem Engineering Department of Faculty of Agriculture, Bursa Uludağ University. In the study, the characteristics and reasons of the preferred facilities within the scope of support were determined. Between 2005 and 2018, our department was distributed by 40 local and 1 foreign companies. Milking facilities are milking facilities suitable for milking of cattle and sheep and have different milking capacities. Machine type, milking parlor, milking stall type, number of milking units, milking head receiver, milk flow meter and pulse device type characteristics were taken into consideration. In the study conducted on the basis of cities, years and companies, the main characteristics such as animal type, number of stops, milk meter type, pulsator type, stop type; Vacuum pump capacity, electric motor power, main vacuum line outer diameter, main milk line outer diameter, washing line diameter and regulator capacity values and structural properties of fixed milking systems were analyzed. When the milking system types of the test report are examined, 88.4% of the milking rooms are located next to the barn and 11.6% of them are milking with lock-behind milking system inside the barn. 83.3% of the facilities were established as a herringbone stall type. In addition, 86.3% of the facilities have milk lines from the bottom and 13.7% from the top. 80.3% of the plants do not have milking head buyers. The province with the most test reports is İzmir with 16.7%. This province is followed by Aydın with 10.9%. Only 28.2% of the facilities have electronic and 35.0% manual milk meter. 49.7% of the pulse devices used in the facilities are electronic and 50.3% are pneumatic. The number of units of the plants varies between at least 2 single-line units and 71 units with a maximum number of double-lines. When the size of the milking unit of the plants is examined, it is seen that the plants with 10 units, with 17.6% and with units of 12.6% with 8.6 units are constructed with 29.6%. Within the vacuum pump size of milking plants, the pumps with 1000-1500 L/min capacity were determined to be the most used pumps with 64.0%. A maximum of 63 mm diameter pipe was used in the main vacuum line pipe diameters and 51 mm diameter was used in the milk line. In the electric motor power of the plants, 3-5.5 kW motors were determined with 46.6%.
