Abstract (EN)

The application of electrochemical sensors as a sensing alternative for the direct detection of Tyrosine (Tyro) in biological samples is demonstrated in this thesis. The crystalline, surface morphology of chloro-tetracarbon titanium dioxide (ClC4/TiO2) were investigated using "X-ray diffraction (XRD)", "Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FITR)", "Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)" and "Energy dispersive analysis of X-ray (EDAX)". Moreover, the electrochemical properties of the developed sensor were studied using "electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)", "cyclic voltammetry (CV)", and "differential pulse voltammetry (DPV)". In this study, we: designed an "electrochemical sensor" capable of rapidly detecting Tyro with an extremely "low limit of detection (LOD)" of 0.0058 μM within a broad linear concentration range of 0.8 to 34.1μM. In the existence of interferences, Tyro was detected in human plasma, milk, and soybean as real samples with high sensitivity and satisfactory recovery. The modified electrode also demonstrated high performance for "stability, repeatability, reproducibility, and reusability". Hence, the developed electrochemical sensor with "high stability, repeatability, reproducibility, and reusability" was presented in this study for Tyro determination. Based on the results, ClC4/TiO2/GCE can be used as a novel method to detect Tyro.
