Abstract (EN)

Digitalisation is relatively a new concept. Digitalisation has came to our lifes and affect all sector.The importance of digitalisation in energy sector have to be considered because with changing world,new requirements has appeared. Digitalisation can help to meet these requirements and led to appear a new concept called smart grid.Integration of renewable energy sources efficiently,variable power demands in grid,global climate problems are compelling factors.Digitalisation can solve those problems mentioned before as it is using the latest technology such as power electronics,advance integration of energy,and two way communication technology.This reports reviews the energy internet concept with its sub-modules and its effects on the energy sector.This research also examines the world's applications in energy sector based on energy internet concept for example China's Pan Energy Internet,Usa's Freedm and Japan's Digital Grid.The goal in this thesis is to explain and present exhaustive review in digitalisation for energy sector.This review includes ongoing projects in the world,applications,challenges,varying technologies and suggestions for Turkey's grid operation.It is concluded that digitalisation in energy will affect the usual concept we were familiar and change the whole process we both consume and produce the electricity.These porocess will introduce for us some terms such as Energy internet,smart grid and affects every sector deeply in future.
