Analysis of the effects of digital transformations on the logistics performance of businesses: Example of Istanbul European region logistics companies

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of digital transformations on the logistics performance of enterprises. In this context, the problems of the research are, do digital transformations affect the logistics performance of enterprises? Do demographic variables as control variables cause a difference in the effect of digital leadership on the logistics performance of enterprises? What are the factors affecting the development of digital transformations? What are the factors that increase the logistics performance of enterprises? It can be listed as follows. The population of this research is the personnel working in Istanbul European Region Logistics companies and the survey will be used to obtain the data of the research. The first part of the questionnaire to be used included demographic questions, the second part included the "Digital Transformation Scale" and the third part included the "Logistics Performance Scale". The participants of the questionnaires were determined by the "simple random sampling method" in which everyone in the universe of the study had the chance to participate, and the relevant questionnaires were distributed online. After the survey data were obtained, "reliability analysis", "frequency analysis", "regression analysis" and "difference analysis" were applied by using SPSS 22 program. After the analysis data obtained, it was determined that: contribution to personal development has a negative effect on cost performance; contribution to personal development, contribution to career development and contribution to work efficiency have a positive effect on operational performance; contribution to career development and contribution to work efficiency have a positive effect on relationship performance. On the other hand, contribution to personal development has a negative effect on operational performance and contribution to personal development has a negative effect on relationship performance.
