Abstract (EN)

This study will be an industrial contribution to the growers of an important edible mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus which have enonomic value. After adding some additives to prepared artificial mycelium and fruitbody spawns for obtaining the optimum pH level can be benefit for producing the most suitable and abundant products. In addition to these, the Pseudomonas strains? growth promotion can be a high industrial contribution to the appearence, taste and also the quality of products. In this study, firstly the effects of pH levels on mycelia of Pleurotus ostreatus were investigated. The results showed that, Pleurotus ostreatus has an ability to utilize the pH level of culture medium, which is optimum for its growth and pH 7 was found to be optimum value for its mycelial growth. In addition to these, the results indicated that at low pH levels, the morphological appearence of mycelia were more weak than morphological appearence of mycelia at high pH levels and also at low pH levels, the duration of mycelia?s covering of whole medium surface was more long.Secondly, the isolated Pseudomonas strains had not significant positive effects on the mycelial growth of Pleurotus ostreatus. Howewer, the results indicated that, at the region which mycelia growed with some of the Pseudomonas strains, there was more thick and strong mycelial cover. In addition to this, the duration of mycelia?s covering of whole medium surface was more short at bacteria inoculated mycelia of petri dishes than the control group (without bacterial inoculation).
