Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the problems of language schools as part service industry and the analysis of data about registered students. In the first part of this thesis study, the difficulties of business sector in finding new customers and the ways of overcoming this problem have been discussed. Also, the same problem and the possible solutions using specificly customer driven methods have been discussed from the point of view of language prepatory schools. In the second part of the study, the working principles of customer relationship management system designed to keep the record of customers and do the analysis of these data have been explained. More specificly, the interface, the structure of the database and correlation of the database tables are given in this part. In the final part of the study, the advantages of using this customer relationship management system and the data analysis have been presented. For data analysis first of all Naive Bayes algorithm have been applied to data using Weka program. The aim was to understand the registration probabilities of students. The rest of the analyses were done using SPSS. In these analyses the aim was to investigate the registration rates based on advertisement areas and customer representatives.
