Comparison of place names in Divanü Lûgati't-Türk with Turkish world place names

In Turkey, the study of place names is first XX. yy. although it was seen in the press, the interest in these works increased gradually with the announcement of the republic and the importance of place names (toponyms) in terms of cultural history was realized. The first of its kind, and its value is increasing day by day, Divanu Lûgati-t-Turk did not neglect the determination of the names of the places. Kashgarli's Divani is very important in terms of the study of place names and naming traditions of the period. This study aims to determine the place names mentioned in the Court, the changes that have been going on until today and to compare them with the place names of the Turkish world today. Our first study was determined by the names of the places mentioned in the work Divanu Lûgâti-t-Turk and how the names of the places were recorded by Kashgarli (e.g. [BA:I/111; EA:325]). After the determination and classification of the names of the land, various texts written about Divanu Lûgâti-t-Turk and Kashgarli Mahmud from the past to the present, readable sources, presentations, published books were scanned and opinions and reviews about the relevant place names were determined and compared with the name of the place in the Court. After the relevant scans, Kashgarli's map and various map programs were examined, the current location of the place names was determined and marked on the map via the "Google Earth" application. All the place names identified at the end of our study are shown in a wider framework on the world map.
