Abstract (EN)

The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of different sowing densities (30, 40, 50 and 60 seeds/m2) on the yield and yield components of some chickpea cultivars (Aksu, Arda, Botan, Hasanbey) under Diyarbakır ecological conditions in the spring-summer period of 2020. The field experiments were organized according to split blocks in randomized complate blocks design (RCBD) with three replications. Plantings were made on the 21th of February in 2020. In this study, plant height, the first pod height, the branches per plant, pods per plant, seeds per plant, weight of pods per plant, 100 grain weight, biomass yield, grain yield and harvest index were investigated. The differences between cultivars in terms of grain yield were found to be significant. Botan gave the highest grain yield value with 260.37 kg/da, (çıkar) followed by Aksu with 259.17 kg/da and Hasanbey with 228.44 kg/da. The lowest value was obtained from Arda with 212.46 kg/da. The effect of sowing densities on the grain yield was insignificant. The values obtained varied between 235.58 kg/da and 244.94 kg/da.
