The Morphological and karyological peculiarities of some little mammals collected from Diyarbakır province

vıı SUMMARY This study is conducted on karyological and morphological peculiarities of 68 specimens of mammals including 6 Pipistrettus pipistrellus (4c?, 2 Ş); 7 Erinaceus concolor (4 c?, 3Ş); 11 Hemiechimts auratus (7 c?, 4 Ş); 13 Scittrus anomalus (5 c?, 8 Ş); 7 Meriones tristrami (4c?, 3 Ş); 7 Mus musculus (4 c?, 3$); 11 Microtus guentheri (5c?, 6 Ş) and 6 Nannospalax ehrenbergi (3c?, 3 Ş) collected from Diyarbakır province between the years of 1997-2001 The morphological peculiarities of the specimens contributed with the papers. By the studies it is estimated that Nannospalax ehrenbergi had 2n=52, NF=76 and NFa=72; Meriones tristrami had 2n=72, NF=88 and NFa=84; Hemiechimts auratus had 2n=48, NF=96 and NFa=92; Erinaceus concolor had 2n=48, NF=94 and NFa=90; Mus musculus had 2n=40, NF=40 and NFa=38; Microtus guentheri had 2n=54, NF=56 and NFa=52; Pipistrellus pipistrellus had 2n=42, NF=52 and NFa=48 and also Sciurus anomalus had 2n=52, NF=80 and NFa=76 karyological measurements. The skulls and skins were deposited in the University of Dicle, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology, Zoology Research Laboratory.
