Protection of natural and cultural landscape through ecotourism oriented landscape planning: The sample of Van

Cultural Landscape fields has been come out with the result of many needs after urbanization and there are many antropological reflections on the areas where dominated by Natural Landscape factors. This cultural reflection on landscape has also effected urban and rural landscape areas. In the historical process, Van city, which has been home to many civilizations, has a various different dynamics which forms and changes Cultural Landscape structure. With this master thesis which named "Protection of Natural and Cultural Landscape through Ecotourism-orientedLandscape Planning" The Sample of Van" is being created a resource for application of city with the Structure of Natural and Cultural Landscape of Van city, study of literature, and mapping by the Arciss data. There has been created a route of tour and protection with the perspective of Ecotourism-oriented Landscape Planning to decrease destroying of Natural and Cultural Landscape fields and use this areas thruogh preservation. In this context, the content of this work consists of six parts. In first part; it has been mentioned about abstract of literature, aim of works and hypothesis. In second part; the theoritical principle of work is consisting. In third part of work ; Landscape feature of Van city and Natural and Cultural Landscape has been dealed in two seperate topics. In fourth part of work; suggestions for field work which is in the contexts of protection of Natural and Cultural areas, protection approaches, has been defined by promoting of reconstruction plan for protect. In fifth part; Eco-tourism has been evaluated. in the context directed to field work of Landscape Planning. In the final piece, it has been appointed that there commended ecotourism route is the most suitable tourism style in the planning field.
