The usage of natural materials as a concept in plastic arts

In this thesis, ?nature? concept with its infinite existence has been evaluated in details and all the progesses that has been examined with the concept like cave paintings and sculptures as the first plastic art products have also been investigated. Civilizations and how the artists according to the subject have put their works with these concepts and how their reflections were, also presented with several examples. Generation period of the nature concept and the new art movement progress which was nourished by the nature, uses of natural materials and its technical specialities have been researched and results of all these technical variety on painting, sculpture and ceramic as sub-headers on Plastic Arts are also evaluated according to their causes of being emerged. After all the analysis, found that material varitey was different from today and in this case, different currents used different natural materials and it was told in different sections detailedly as; Arte Povera, Land Art, Earth Art, Natural or Environmental Art, Process Art, Organic Art, Body Art like headers. Also, limitless usage of the material on many of the extrimist art aptitude has been included. Nonetheless, natural material usage in Comtemporary Turkish Art and the works of Seyit Mehmet Bucukoglu and his selection of natural materials also presented with the examples and referenced sources. According to the investigation, the aim was to bring up the conceptial variety in the choice of natural materials, new developable materials and all the related technical subjects.
