Abstract (EN)
Today, with the rapid increase in the world population, energy consumption is increasing. Due to the limited natural energy resources in the world, it is predicted that it will cause a big problem in the future, if not today. For this reason, it is important to use energy resources that are efficient, have low environmental impacts and cost in a way that does not affect the country's economy, rather than the uncontrolled use of energy needs. Combined cycle power plants are one of these power plants. It emits less CO to the environment compared to other power plants. It is preferred in the first place in terms of high efficiency and cost. In this study, the stages of electricity generation from natural gas in an existing combined cycle power plant, the power plant elements were investigated. In addition, economic analyzes such as the installation cost of the power plant, fuel consumption, electricity generation cost were made.
