Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to reduce the draw force requirement of the disc coulter used in tillage machines by coating and to determine the effect of this coating on the plant stand. The research was carried out in two stages as a soil bin and field trial. In the soil bin, flat disc, fluted disc and bublle disc coulters were put into the test. At this stage, titanium nitride coating, graphite coating and original without coating, a total of 8 different coulters was tried to determine the average draw force requirement for four different disk direction angles (0°, 5°,10° ve 15°) and four different loads (0, 30, 60 ve 90 kg). In the field trials, it was tried to determine the performance of the notill planter in standing stubble and shredded stubble conditions by means of coated and uncoated disc coulters mounted directly on the planter. At the end of the research, different coating applications affected statistically (p≤0.01) the draw force of the disc coulters. 25% graphite coated flat disc coulter (%25GKDD) gave the lowest average draw force values with 67.3 N. In addition, in terms of angle of disc direction, the lowest result was obtained at 0 ° disc direction angle while the lowest result was obtained at 0 kg weight. Although there was no significant effect of the coulter coating on the distribution accuracy of the plant in the field trials, the original bubble disc coulter gave the lowest mean emergence date (4.61 days) in the standing stubble condition.
