Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, it is required well-developed control systems to meet high speed, high quality and more efficient production requirements in industry. Model predictive control (MPC) method is a method based on system model and it proved its efficiency by means of huge amount of academic studies and industrial applications for last two decades. There are much kind of MPC methods. In this thesis, it is performed simulation studies and practical applications with Dynamic Matrix Control (DMC), Model Algorithmic Control (MAC) and Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) methods. It is performed several simulation studies by using linear and nonlinear models of a coupled two tank system. These methods are also applied to control the actual system. The performance of the designed MPC methods are comparatively shown with these studies. Keywords: Model predictive control, dynamic matrix control, model algorithmic control, generalized predictive control.
