Using possibilities of texture, structure and repetition principles in ceramic

This thesis, titled ?Using Possibilities of Texture, Structure and Repetition Principles inCeramic?, consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, the principles and the purposes oftexture, structure and repetition is defined; both in the natural and artificial objects. In thesecond chapter, the production purposes and possibilities of texture, structure and repetition inartistic and industrial ceramics explained with giving examples. Finally, the last chapterconsists of personal applications.The uniting systems can be classified into two main categories as texture and structure.Texture and structure of natural objects consist depending on functions of the objects.Artificial designs can be classified such as texture, structure, repetition of form and new formdesigns with element. Designing of artificial texture, structure and repetition which is used inmany areas such as textile, ceramics, lighting, decorative arts can be determined up to usagepurposes. In industrial ceramics, while the using purposes are important, in the artisticceramics, this purpose is not necessary. There are infinite possibilities of design on the basisof these principles through the variable methods of ceramic shaping.Finally, with the personal application of ceramic forms, the limitations and the possibilities ofthe texture, structure and repetition had been researched.
