Abstract (EN)
The objective of the research was to determine the seasonal variations of leaf macro (N, P, K, Ca, Mg) and micro (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, B) elements of Domat and Uslu olive varieties. The research was also undertaken to determine the stable periods for leaf sampling in two of the olive varieties.Soil and leaf samples were taken montly from 2009 May to 2010 April, and analyzed .Leaf macro nutrients varied between % 1.08-1.89; % 0.08-0.13; % 0.97-1.35; % 1.49-2.57; % 0.11-0.18; for N, P, K, Ca and Mg respectively for Domat variety and % 0.89-2.78; % 0.10-0.14; % 0.72-1.43; % 1.21-2.23; % 0.13-0.19; for Uslu variety. Results revealed that the period between November to January can be recommended as the sampling period for all of examined nutrients (except Fe) in Domat variety and November to January for all of the nutrients excluding Fe and Zn for Uslu variety. Keywords: Plant nutrients, seasonal variation, leaf sampling period, olive
