Abstract (EN)
ToBRFV (Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus) is an important viral agent that causes yield and yield losses in tomato production areas. Since the source of the disease is viral, it cannot be controlled by a direct chemical application. Therefore, only cultural measures such as the use of resistant varieties and sanitation are taken to control the disease. ToBRFV persists in the soils of tomato production areas for more than 2 years and causes infection. The aim of this study was to investigate ToBRFV infection in a tomato production area where ToBRFV trials were conducted in previous years, the effectiveness of infection, virulence of ToBRFV, solarization and various disinfectants to prevent infection. In the greenhouse with ToBRFV, after solarization and disinfectant application, the symptoms of the tomato plants to be planted in the soil will be observed, molecular RT-PCR analysis will be carried out and according to the results, statistical analysis and different disinfectant applications will be compared and which method is more effective against the presence of ToBRFV in the soil will be investigated. In this way, it is aimed to control the disease and prevent yield/quality losses in tomato production areas with ToBRFV.
