Abstract (EN)
From the beginning of the industrial revolution to the present day, there have been three major revolutions. Now, with the developing technologies, the effects of the fourth industrial revolution called Industry 4.0 are seen and a new process is expected for countries and workers. The fourth industrial revolution is accepted to have emerged in industry when machines began to manage themselves and their production processes without the need for manpower. With the Industry 4.0 revolution, the influence of people gradually decreases in the production stages and leaves their places to robots and lights-out manufacturing. It is already predicted that there will be a very tough competition between robots and humans in terms of employment in the future. There will be unemployed because of robots, many professions will disappear, new professions will emerge. In this study, the socio-economic consequences of the fourth industrial revolution, their effects on the labor markets, the professions arising from the new technological revolution and how to restructure the labor force according to changing conditions are examined. Keywords: Industry 4.0, Labor Market, Employment, Technology, Labor.
