Abstract (EN)
In this study, volume change behaviors of alluvial clay samples were investigated in unsaturated conditions. Oedometer tests were done on soil samples, prepared in different water contents. The coefficients of volume compressibility were calculated for each sample from these oedometer tests. Change of coefficient of volume compressibility with water content and stress, were investigated. It was observed that the coefficient of volume compressibility increases with increasing water content and decreases with increasing stress level.
