Abstract (EN)

Looking at the history of thought, it is seen that philosophical movements interact with each other. Each new thought is affected by the thoughts before it, as well as the thoughts that come after it. There are many thinkers who have a say in the field of philosophy of religion, where new ideas are constantly emerging. Although the ideas put forward by each philosopher cause controversy from time to time, the expansion of perspectives has also been effective in bringing new interpretations to new ideas. Philosophy has led to the recognition of the philosopher's personalities and ideas in the classical period, in the modernization process and today. In this study, the contributions of Dücane Cündioğlu, who came to the fore with his philosophical, mystical and scientific thoughts, to philosophy and the relationship between religion and philosophy were examined in a wide range. Our study consists of three parts. In the introduction, Dücane Cündioğlu's life, personality, the method he used, his works and philosophical methodology, which constitute his philosophical background, were examined. In the first part, his philosophical thought and the criticisms directed towards him are discussed. In the last chapter, the meanings he attributed to religion, mysticism and worship were evaluated and his philosophical and religious views were compared as a whole.
