Abstract (EN)

Ensuring the sustainability of energy resources is one of the most important issues from the past to the present. In this study, a research was conducted on increasing the temperature of the low temperature geothermal source with the existing biogas produced by using biomass, which is one of the renewable energy sources, using the energy of the geothermal source whose temperature is increased. Energy, entropy, exergy, cost analysis of the facility designed for geothermal resource in Erzincan-Akyazı region were made and the first and second law yields of the system elements and system were determined. The total first law efficiency of the system was calculated η_I=50.30, and the second law efficiency was η_II=5.55. As a result of the research, it was determined that if the geothermal energy in the Erzincan-Akyazı region was evaluated in biogas-fired boiler by increasing the temperature of the house heating, greenhouse and swimming pool, the number of houses that can be heated will increase from 275 to 575 and the greenhouse area from 27.500m2 to 57.500m2. It was calculated that the designed facility will amortize the initial investment cost in approximately 83 months.
