Abstract (EN)

Devoloping technological developments have brought many innovations to our lives. Trade is one of the areas that has been mos affected and changed. The internet's facilitation of access from one end of the world to the other has also affected commercial life. This field, called e-commerce, has provided the opportunity to reach all parts of the world and has also contributed to the expansion of the customer portfolio. Competition has become more important as trade has gained an international dimension. As the number of businesses to compete increases, businesses have had to develop various strategies to survive. While legal methods are used to get ahead in competition, we many also encounter illegal methods. Unfair competition is the branch of law that explains and prevents illegal methods and behaviors. It aims to prevent behaviors that are contrary to the rule of honesty and general morality in economic life, to protect the interests of the participants and to regulate the competitive environment. Deceptive advertisements, which are one of the forms of unfair competition, are advertisements that cause consumers to be deceived with false, misleading and incompklete information. There sre various laws to regulate the unlawful situations encountered. Unlawful situations encountered are regulated by law.
