Abulfaz Elchibey's life and petroleum policies

The aim of our master's thesis study is to explain the oil policies implemented by the independence leader of Northern Azerbaijan, EbulfezElçibey (ƏbülfəzQədirquluogluƏliyev-EbulfezKadirkuluoglu Aliyev) before and during the Presidency. When we look at the subject in general, we will see the portrait of EbulfezElçibey, who adopted the principle of Azerbaijan's independence and integrity (Butov-Tek Azerbaijan, including the North and the South). Our work consists of two parts. In the first part, we evaluated his childhood-youth, education-science, political activities, his struggle for independence for his country, the presidential process, the First Karabakh War, Azerbaijan's relations with Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Elchibey's historiography. In the second part, under the title of oil policy of EbulfezElçibey, the concept of energy, the history of oil, the oil crisis in Europe, the oil regions in the world and in Azerbaijan, the importance of oil in the economy of Azerbaijan, the oil policies of the country during and before the Elchibey period, the oil strategy, the state of Azerbaijan. We evaluated the oil company, the oil agreements, the obstructions against the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Armenian/Diaspora factor in this direction and its reflections on the press.
