Abstract (EN)
Is there a close relationship between literature and mind? Can literature be handled and examined with a cognitive approach? This thesis seeks answers to these questions. First of all, the views and systems of thinkers who studied the mind from the 17th to the 20th centuries are reviewed. Then, the relation between literature and mind is examined. Finally, Cognitive Poetics, one of the sub-fields of Cognitive Literature Studies, and the concepts and theories studied in this field are mentioned.
