Abstract (EN)
Coenzyme Q10 has recently been documented to be associated with male infertility. Studies have linked coenzyme Q10 levels to semen quality, like sperm motility also vitality. 90 participants were selected for this study. In addition, 30 healthy individuals were selected as a control group. The current study aimed to analyze the effect of CO-enzyme Q10 levels on semen parameters (the most important of which is sperm motility in infertile males) directly or through the effect of Co-enzyme Q10 on male fertility hormones LH, FSH, Prolactin and Testosterone. The results of this study showed a relationship between testosterone also Coenzyme Q10, which affects sperm motility also semen volume. Our results showed a clear effect of prolactin, while there was no clear effect of Q10 on LH also FSH hormones.
