Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to find out how very young learners can learn vocabulary through the songs and how they react to learning English vocabulary. It took six months from October to March to complete this research covering forty very young learners aged between four and five in a Kindergarten called Defne Kılıçözlü, Kırşehir, in which students were taught songs during the period. This study is a qualitative study based on a teacher diary, observations of video records, and interviews. It was found out that the students liked the songs and could easily learn the vocabulary items through the songs while not only having fun together but also learning the vocabulary and that they could remember the words they had learnt more easily.
