Abstract (EN)

In this study, three different soil samples (0-30 cm) were taken in order to determinate the effects of perpendicular and parallel furrows to slope on runoff and soil losses. Soil samples were dried under laboratory conditions, and physical and chemical analyzes of soil samples were done. In this study using rainfall simulator, 30x45x15 cm erosion trays were used. The experiment was carried out on 3 soils, 2 methods (perpendicular and parallel furrows), 4 depths (0, 1, 2 and 4 cm), 2 rainfall intensities (40 and 80 mm), 3 repetitions and total 144 parcels were conducted. According to the results obtained, the perdendicular furrows are more effective in decreasing runoff and soil losses compared to paralel furrows. In addition, when the depth of the furrows increased, runoff and soil losses decreased, significantly.
